ASDA, the American Student Dental Association is a student-run national organization

Think of us as the dental student division of the ADA.

ASDA is split up into a tripartite system:

  1. National ASDA

  2. District ASDA

  3. Chapter ASDA

  • Think of "National ASDA" as the "Federal" level which is composed of an Executive Committee; President, 2 VP's,  Speaker of the House, and House of Representatives.

  • Think of "District ASDA" as the "State" level which is composed of 11 Districts, each of which has a certain number of dental schools grouped together depending on geographic location. East District has an overseeing head officer called the "Trustee", who has a cabinet of dental students from a number of schools grouped within a smaller geographic location.

  • Think of "Chapter ASDA" as the "Local" level which is composed of the individual chapters at each of the 66 dental schools across the USA. Each local chapter of ASDA has a President and various other officers.
